Establishes a calculation model, analyses the influences of outdoor air temperature and water flow rate on the thermal performance of cooling tower, and discusses the optimized ratio of water to air. The results show that when outdoor air temperature is 10.5 ℃, relative humidity is 60%, and inlet water temperature is 0 ℃, the auxiliary heating capacity of cooling tower can reach to as high as 45 kW, which meets the demand of indoor heating. When improving the air flow rate of cooling tower to reach the optimized ratio of water to air, with meeting the condition of 45 kW heating capacity, the allowed minimum outdoor air temperature can be as low as 7.6 ℃.
